Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), we would like to extend a warm invitation to attend the 3rd Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society (APTOS) Symposium on July 7-8, 2018 in Singapore.
Machine learning is improving diagnostics, predicting outcomes, and will revolutionize personalized care for our patients. Healthcare industries worldwide are undergoing a major transformation through the use of advanced analytics and big data technologies. Analytics-assisted medicine may become an integral part of ophthalmology practices in the future.
The 3rd APTOS Symposium would cover exciting topics such as practicality and regulatory implications of big data analytics and AI in tele-ophthalmology, including ethical challenges of using big data in our public healthcare systems. Our invited speakers will share their insights on how big data analytics and AI can be an effective tool to gain insight into real-world diagnostic, preventive and treatment patterns of ophthalmic conditions, to deliver the best care to patients.
